The beginning of a new year is a good time to summarize the results of the previous one. And here is what our 2024 looked like in numbers and facts.
Thanks to your support Freedom Birds for Ukraine raised 140 thousand dollars - that's more than 2000 individual donations. We sent 44 drones to the front, including 12 Mavic 3Ts with thermal imaging cameras, 4 vehicles, 1 anti-drone device and equipment for Ukrainian defenders: radios, satellite communications, generators, charging stations, tactical medicine and equipment repair totaling $19,000.
We also cooperated with the Civic Council, Гражданский совет, supporting logistics for volunteers of the Siberian Battalion of the AFU for the amount of 9 thousand dollars.
For humanitarian purposes, 15,670 dollars were directed:
a car for Nikolaev volunteers;
assistance to the shelter in Poland;
gifts for children from frontline Berislav with Help Ukraine Hub;
helping the Okhmatdit center in Kiev after the bombing.
Local communities joined the project:
In Los Angeles, activist Anastasia Kornienko together with other activists of NavalnyLA organized the sale of handmade items, with proceeds going to our humanitarian needs.
The Sacramento-based RADR community ran a Mugs for Lives campaign to purchase tourniquets for fighters.
The German organization Freies Russland NRW is raising funds for drones for the Ukrainian military.
Since the launch of the project, we have raised over 300,000 dollars. Freedom Birds for Ukraine remains one of the largest grassroots projects of Russians helping Ukraine.
All of this is only possible thanks to your support. We incredibly appreciate your collective efforts and are ready to continue together with you. We still have a lot of work ahead of us.
Your help saves lives!
