We are pleased to announce the conclusion of our special fundraising campaign for the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, launched a week ago. With your generous support, we managed to raise $3,293. Additionally, our colleagues from RADR’s community in New York, For Freedom in Russia, who had been collecting funds for a children's rehabilitation center in Nikopol, decided to contribute their collected amount of $589 to Okhmatdyt. In total, our joint efforts have allowed us to transfer $3,882 to the Okhmatdyt center.
As a result of Russian missile attacks on the Okhmatdyt National Children's Specialized Hospital, 300 people were injured, according to the clinic's general director, Vladimir Zholner.
On the morning of July 8, Russian troops launched missile attacks on several Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. This massive rocket attack resulted in the deaths of 34 people, including 5 children. Restoring Ukraine's main children's hospital will require substantial effort, time, and financial resources. This week, the Okhmatdyt fund received support from a diverse range of contributors, including celebrities, businesspeople, large brands, and ordinary residents from around the world. It is crucial to respond to the atrocities committed by a fascist dictatorship with solidarity, collective effort, and a unified will.
Thank you to everyone who chose not to remain indifferent!
