Freedom Birds for Ukraine received a certificate of appreciation from the Mayor of the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych (Олександр Сєнкевич - мер Миколаєва), for “providing ongoing humanitarian aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine under martial law in Ukraine.” It is a great honor for us to be recognized by the head of the administration of a city located in close proximity to the front line - a city that heroically stopped the Russian aggression in this direction in 2022, and a city that continues to endure constant shelling of residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, and the deaths of civilians.
From the very first days of the full-scale invasion, the volunteers and donors of FBU took on the mission of helping the brave Ukrainian defenders to endure and win, as well as supporting Ukrainian civilians affected by the criminal invasion. This certificate is a shared achievement of our entire team and everyone who supports us: volunteers, donors, partners, those who help with collecting, logistics, procurement, and communication. This is a certificate for everyone who makes this project possible. Thank you for being with us. Only together can we do this work—and we will continue this work for as long as it is needed.
We also thank our partners in Mykolaiv, the charitable association “Peace through Spiritual Revival” and its leader Lyudmyla Falko, who help us deliver our aid to its destination.
Together to victory!
