CNN has released a report (https://www.cnn.com/.../ukrainian-battlefield-mines...) about the use of drones by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the frontlines.
Journalists filmed their report from the location of National Guard 15th Operational Brigade in Zaporizhia. It was these brigade's fighters that we recently helped with a purchase of a drone with a thermal imager.
As the journalists explained, drones with thermal imagers have found a new application: during the summer days, Russian mines buried in the ground heat up and become visible to the drone's thermal imager. This simplifies and makes less risky the advancement of Ukrainian fighters during counteroffensives.
